Son Kills His Own Dad

A large funeral is going to happen for a man well liked by everyone in the community that was killed by his own son. Police say an 8 year old boy killed his own dad and that it was premeditated. They say that the boy shot his dad. This all happened in St. Johns, Arizona a small community. Marybeth Ellisworth says that they are a well liked family and he will always be remembered. This community is so small that only 2 other people have been killed in the last 20 years. This article shows that through hardships and loss everyone still comes together in the end. I think this article is shocking because is shows that even an 8 year old can operate a gun and can even think to kill their own parent. I think that this article really shows that kids these days are exposed to a lot of violence and can really have an affect on the way they act.
